About XC

Our Team History

Despite a rich history of success in the 1990s and 2000s under Coach Jim Kwasteniet, Chicago Christian lost its boys' and girls' cross country teams in the fall of 2005.  The Knights were reborn in 2009 as a club team, then established as a varsity girls' team in 2011 under the leadership of Kristin and George Visser and regained a boys team in the fall of 2017. Our focus is to build a strong and determined community intent on excelling in both running and life.

Our Team Goals

As a team we have three main goals that we focus on throughout the season and that drive all that we do:

  • Glorify God
  • Support our Teammates
  • Strive for Excellence
