Piriformis Syndrome

A sharp pain on the glute, often behind the hip caused by a compression of the sciatic nerve. Caused by overuse of the piriformis muscle, which helps rotate your leg as you walk/run.

Piriformis Stretch: Lying on your back, grab your knee with one hand and your ankle with the other. Then pull both towards your opposite shoulder.
